Floral Clouds Over a Timeless Candlelit Dinner: Montecito Country Club Wedding

Weddings

For Lizzy and Michael’s wedding at Montecito Country Club, we kept the palette to crisp whites and fresh greens and let texture and scale carry the design. The day felt timeless, with a modern and romantic edge.

A Lily of the Valley Bridal Bouquet

Lizzy carried a hand-tied posy made entirely of lily of the valley and wrapped in its own leaves. Delicate and fragrant, it was a perfect match for her sculptural off-the-shoulder gown and cathedral veil with a lace edge. Her bridesmaids wore mismatched shades of blue, from ice to navy, and each carried a small bouquet of white blooms.

A Custom Draped Chuppah Ceremony Overlooking the Coast

The ceremony centered on a ruched fabric chuppah with a soft arched opening, custom fabricated by our team and framed by tall columns of white hydrangea, delphinium, and greenery. Natural bentwood chairs lined a lush aisle with the ocean just beyond. Back at the club entrance, white and green florals climbed both sides of the tiled doorway, making a beautiful spot for portraits.

A Ballroom Reception Under Clouds of Baby’s Breath

We wrapped the ballroom floor to ceiling in soft white draping, with swags across the ceiling. Large clusters of baby’s breath hung from the iron candle chandeliers, so it felt like the room was filled with clouds. The round tables held tall arrangements of baby’s breath, white hydrangea, and orchids on silver stands. At the head table, a runner of white and green hydrangea grew down the center, lit by small brass lamps. On the long tables, we kept things clean with single calla lilies, pillar candles, and votives so the candlelight could shine. Black bentwood chairs with cane seats, scalloped china, and table numbers in ornate gold frames finished the room.

Lizzy and Michael, thank you for trusting us with your day. It was a joy to create something so classic and so completely you.
