A Corporate Event to Remember

Who says corporate events have to be boring? As an event planner, I’m always looking for ways to make my events stand out. And what could be more unique than a Harry Potter-themed party?

I recently had the opportunity to plan a Harry Potter party for some of our trusted vendors and team, and it was an absolute blast. We transformed the Ritz Carlton Bacara wine cellar into a magical wonderland, complete with floating candles, Hogwarts house flags, and elaborate gold candle stands.

The Decor

To create the floating candles, we hung battery-operated taper candles from fishing line. It was a simple but effective way to create a magical atmosphere. We also used Hogwarts house flags to decorate the walls. And for the centerpieces, we made floral arrangements and used gold candle stands that looked like they were straight out of the Great Hall. 

 

The Menu

The menu at every place setting was designed after the Marauder’s map and even the bar served themed, signature cocktails called “Polyjuice Potion”, and “Love Potion.”

 

The Shopping Experience

One of the highlights of the party was the “shopping experience.” We set up a display of gifts, and guests were able to choose their favorite items to take home. It was a great way to thank our guests for coming and to make them feel like they were part of the magic.

The Fun

The party was a huge success. Our guests had a blast, and they were all impressed with the level of detail that we put into the event. If you’re looking for a unique and memorable way to celebrate your next corporate event, I highly recommend a Harry Potter party.
