What’s the best way to get your wedding weekend swinging? A tennis tournament fueled by tequila, of course! Katrina and Zach served up a brilliant start to their celebrations with a fun and high-energy Tennis & Tequila event on the Friday before their big day. Held at the beautiful Bacara Resort & Spa, where most of their guests were also staying, the tournament was the perfect icebreaker and set the tone for an unforgettable weekend.
Imagine this: sunshine, friendly competition, and the clinking of glasses filled with refreshing tequila cocktails. Katrina and Zach went all out, providing custom visors and coolers for their guests, adding a personalized touch to the already festive atmosphere. It was a fantastic way for everyone to mingle, get to know each other, and build excitement for the wedding itself.
Starting the festivities with an activity like this is a genius idea. It injects a dose of fun and friendly competition into the weekend from the get-go. Instead of a more formal rehearsal dinner, this casual and interactive event allowed guests to relax, laugh, and connect before the main events.
With everyone staying at the Bacara, it was incredibly convenient and created a real sense of community. Guests could easily participate in the tournament, relax by the pool, and then seamlessly transition into the other wedding weekend events.
Kicking off the wedding weekend with such a memorable experience is a testament to Katrina and Zach’s thoughtful vision. It’s a trend we hope to see more of – a chance to celebrate love and friendship with a dash of healthy competition and, of course, a splash of tequila. Cheers to the happy couple and their winning weekend!
