At Tyler Speier Events, we love leaning into the “art of the possible,” and this immersive vow renewal at Villa Verano was the ultimate creative playground. To celebrate a love that only gets better with time, we invited guests to fall down the rabbit hole into a high-design Wonderland. The experience began with a whimsical “Drink Me” potion before attendees transitioned through “the rabbit hole,” emerging into a ceremony space framed by oversized paper flowers. It was a joy to curate a journey that felt less like a traditional event and more like a step through the looking glass.

From mismatched vintage tea sets to lush, overgrown floral installations and mushroom decor by the pool, every detail was chosen to evoke a sense of wonder. For the cocktail hour, we layered in immersive entertainment that blurred the lines between reality and fiction, ensuring that the spirit of Lewis Carroll’s world was felt in every corner of the estate. Our goal was to create a soulful, stress-free environment where time truly stood still for our couple and their guests.

As the sun began to set over the Santa Barbara coastline, the celebration culminated in a breathtaking dinner overlooking the city. We paired the natural beauty of the Pacific with an incredible, curated dessert bar that served as the final “impossible thing” of the day. This activation was a beautiful reminder that when we lead with intentional design and a touch of playfulness, we can transform a stunning venue like Villa Verano into a living storybook. It was a magical evening where every detail whispered that the best adventures are the ones we take together.
