As a Central Coast wedding planner, designer, and florist, our team often works with couples to transform expansive estates into multi-layered experiences. For this elegant Bridgerton-inspired Central Coast wedding, we utilized the diverse spaces at Greengate Ranch & Vineyard to transition from a classic garden aesthetic to a high-energy, retro-inspired afterparty.

A Garden Ceremony at The Greengate Pond

The ceremony took place at the pond, anchored by a 10-foot wedding arch composed of bright, seasonal florals. Our team custom fabricated the arch structure to make this traditional moment massive in scale.  To maintain a traditional feel, we placed large ceramic urns at the aisle entrance and provided guests with custom fans monogramed with the couple’s initials. A string quartet provided the soundtrack, reinforcing the refined, Regency-era atmosphere.

Vibrant Yellow Cocktail Hour

We transitioned guests to a cocktail hour defined by a bold, monochromatic yellow palette. Key design elements included:

• Custom Bar: Wrapped in lemon-print wallpaper with a coordinating lemon sculpture.

• Seating Chart: A residential-inspired installation featuring wallpaper that matched the bar.

• Linens and Lounges: Bright yellow textiles to contrast the natural vineyard greenery.

Elegant Dinner Outside the Barn

The dinner reception leaned back into the Bridgerton-inspired aesthetic. We styled the tables with patterned linens, fine china, and gold and white chairs. To elevate the rustic facade of the barn, we installed hanging chandeliers and integrated fresh fruit accents surrounding the floral centerpieces, adding a layer of sophisticated texture.

The Transformation: Palm Springs Night Club

For the final portion of the evening, we completely transformed the barn into a Palm Springs night club meets retro arcade. This high-contrast design featured:

• Custom Flooring: A bespoke orange and white dance floor.

• Lighting & Decor: Hot pink linens, neon signs, and a cluster of disco balls and floral basket lanterns.

• Entertainment: Functional retro arcade games for guests to enjoy between DJ sets.
