Sumptuous Bridgerton Bridal Shower at the Belmond

When we were asked to produce a Bridgerton-inspired tea party for one of our bride’s bridal showers, we were so excited!  Not only is high tea at the Belmond El Encanto in Santa Barbara such an elegant, memorable experience, but the colors, textures, and inspiration from Netflix’s Bridgerton are so fun and inspiring.
We created a sumptuous table for the bridal tea on the terrace at the Belmond El Encanto, with sweeping ocean views.   To soften the space, we created two “hydrangea” bushes growing up the terrace gazebo, with textured florals and greenery.  Little bees were hidden in the florals as a subtle nod to Bridgerton themes. This luxurious floral installation was the focal point of the design.
The feasting table was set with an embroidered linen from La Tavola, mismatched antique candelabras as well as glass ones from Theoni Collection.  Purple florals adorned the table in mismatched vases, including vintage tea and coffee sets.  Silver trays with fruit also lined the table – a fun, edible centerpiece that brought lots of color and vibrancy to the design.  For favors, each guest received gourmet chocolates in a floral-patterned box.  ​
In lieu of traditional place cards, each guest was greeted with a small frame with a picture of them with the bride.   To give a subtle nod to the upcoming wedding festivities, Lele Patisserie created a “preview” wedding cake tied with a blue velvet ribbon.  We love how unique and special this bridal shower design was, and were so honored to be a part of it!
