From the lush garden ceremony to the intimate reception in the historic Fireside Room, every detail was carefully curated to create a truly unforgettable celebration. The morning of Adrienne’s wedding was beautiful. As her wedding planner, designer, and florist, we were excited to see her vision come to life at the enchanting San Ysidro Ranch. 

Adrienne looked radiant in her custom Monique Lhuillier gown, a creation of lace and silk. Her stunning veil, adorned with delicate floral embroidery, was a showstopper.

A Romantic Garden Ceremony at San Ysidro Ranch

The ceremony setting at San Ysidro Ranch was breathtaking, nestled amidst their famous rose garden. San Ysidro Ranch weddings are known for their elegance and natural beauty.

We created a lush floral display for Adrienne & Ross, with blooms cascading down the aisle, adorning the backs of the chairs, and culminating in a stunning triple arch overflowing with romantic pastel hues (see photo). The overall effect was romantic and elegant.

Every detail was carefully planned, including custom embroidered handkerchiefs with each guest’s name placed on their seat. These unique keepsakes served as both place cards and a touching reminder of their presence on this special day. A particularly touching moment was the inclusion of a pillow, crafted from the fabric of Ross’s late mother’s dresses, placed on an empty chair in her honor. It was a beautiful way to remember and include her in their celebration.

Adrienne was the picture of elegance as she walked down the aisle to the sounds of a string quartet, playing a song from the Pride and Prejudice film. The ceremony itself was deeply personal, officiated by Adrienne’s father.

Cocktail Hour at San Ysidro Ranch

Following the ceremony, guests mingled in San Ysidro Ranch‘s picturesque rose garden for cocktail hour. We designed stylish lounge areas with plush pillows, chic umbrellas, and interesting coffee table books, creating intimate spaces for guests to relax and connect.

Beyond the stunning setting, delicious alcohol-free mocktails, and luxurious oyster bar, Adrienne & Ross curated unique experiences for their guests. The Typewriting Poet engaged with guests, crafting personalized poems on his vintage typewriter. A talented watercolor artist painted beautiful portraits of couples, that also served as unique wedding favors. 

This cocktail hour was the perfect blend of elegance, entertainment, and personalized touches, setting the stage for a memorable evening.

A Colorful Transition

Before dinner, Adrienne & Ross delighted guests with a vibrant outfit change! Adrienne changed into a playful, colorful ensemble, while Ross donned a burgundy velvet jacket.

An Intimate Dinner in the Fireside Room at San Ysidro Ranch

As dusk settled, guests moved into the Fireside Room at San Ysidro Ranch for dinner. The entrance was transformed with a lush floral arch.

Inside, long tables were decorated with floral painted taper candles and overflowing floral arrangements in rich autumnal hues (see photo). Every detail was carefully curated, from the embroidered napkins with the couple’s monogram to the candles surrounding the room that cast a warm glow over the room.

Even the built-in bookshelves were adorned with delicate vases of blooms. And for dessert? Three magnificent multi-tiered wedding cakes were on display.

The chefs at the Stonehouse restaurant at San Ysidro Ranch created a delicious menu. This intimate reception was the epitome of luxurious, floral-forward design, creating an unforgettable experience for Adrienne & Ross and their loved ones.

 

 

A Cozy Fireside End to the Evening

As the evening progressed, guests moved to the outdoor patio, drawn by the warmth of the fireplace and the twinkling lights strung across a majestic tree trunk, adorned with delicate floral arrangements. A string quartet played as guests mingled and enjoyed the final moments of this celebration.




Framed photos from the previous night’s Western Welcome Party were displayed, allowing guests to take home a memento. Their watercolor portraits from the cocktail hour were also available as keepsakes.
