Brittany and Dave got married at Rancho Dos Pueblos, in Santa Barbara, California. It was a destination wedding celebration – their guests traveled from all over the country to celebrate! Brittany wore a beautiful, simple, timeless Alexandra Grecco gown. I created a textured bouquet for her with natural greenery and muted blooms. The Cafe Au Lait Dahlias were specially stunning!
Guests were transported to the wedding in vintage school busses. They were taken up to a bluff overlooking the Pacific Ocean for welcome drinks and for the ceremony. Guests sat on natural wooden benches as Brittany and her dad arrived to the ceremony site in a vintage Mercedes Car – so classic! Not an eye was dry as Brittany and her dad came down the aisle, which was lined with greenery and papas grass. Instead of a traditional arch, me and my team created a half circle arrangement growing from the ground with greenery and pampas grass.
The reception took place on a private beach. I loved the natural color palette, rattan lanterns, pampas-grass around the stage for the band, and all of the beautiful calligraphy details. Inspired by Brittany and Dave’s love for travel, the escort card display was created with hand painted luggage tags and each table was named after one of their favorite travel spots. I especially loved this display, as Taylor and I did something super similar at our own wedding! Each table had natural floral arrangements with lots of greenery, vintage brass candlesticks and gray taper candles, and beautiful natural ceramic china with gold flatware. It was such a beautiful evening – and you just can’t beat the ocean view when you are on a private beach!
