Adrienne & Ross kicked off their destination wedding weekend with a unique twist – a “Western Welcome Party” at the iconic Cold Spring Tavern in Santa Barbara. Guests, who had checked into either the luxurious San Ysidro Ranch or the stylish Hotel Californian, arrived ready to celebrate. Their welcome bags included a cute itinerary for the weekend, designed by Nikki Stanford Artistry, and curated local gifts and goodies. Guests were encouraged to don their best “Country Chic” attire, and they certainly delivered!
But the real showstopper? Custom Stetson hats gifted to each guest upon arrival at Cold Spring Tavern. The setting was pure magic, with long tables adorned with lush white florals, flickering candlelight, and embossed leather menus. Guests enjoyed a delicious dinner under the stars, kept warm by heaters and cozy blankets, while a talented folk band set the mood.
Refreshing signature cocktails were served in playful cowboy boot mugs and personalized copper Moscow Mule mugs.
As the evening progressed, the tavern came alive with line dancing and laughter. It was the perfect way to welcome guests to a weekend of wedding celebrations.
Capturing all the joy and laughter was the incredibly talented KT Merry Photography. A world-class photographer, KT and her team were an absolute pleasure to work with, seamlessly blending into the festivities while capturing every moment with artistry and grace.
It’s the perfect opportunity to set the tone for an unforgettable weekend, allowing guests to mingle and connect before the big day. A welcome party also allows you to showcase your wedding destination and express your personal style in a more relaxed setting.
