This Spring wedding took place at The Montecito Country Club , showing off its dreamy ocean view at the ceremony, and a romantic ballroom full of florals at reception. Setting up this wedding was quite the adventure – we had an unexpected rainstorm roll in that morning, and it rained right up until it was time for the ceremony to start!  Thankfully, the sun came out just in time for a beautiful outdoor ceremony.

The day was captured by the talented Shannon Skloss, who used the rainy morning to take the most vogue photos! Colorful florals by our TSE team, luxury rentals from Theoni, and custom paper goods by Katherine Jezek Designs and K Designs, all made for a beautiful wedding. Despite the rain, the day went so smoothly, thanks to our peaceful, joyful, and flexible team of vendors!

As this was a destination wedding, the guests were welcomed to town with cute welcome bags, overflowing with locally sourced treats and gifts assembled and hand-delivered to the Santa Barbara Inn by our TSE team.

A Beautiful, Rainy Morning

Hollie and her bridesmaids got ready together, and Samara Beauty gave them each their own glammed up look, tailored to their preferences. Hollie had a gorgeous collection of bridal fashion details.

Since it was still raining, the girls took photos inside a grand room at the Montecito Club, posing in vogue-fashion with Shannon‘s expert guidance.

Ocean view Ceremony with the prettiest floral aisle…

Knowing that the sun was supposed to come out in time for ceremony, our TSE team worked in the pouring rain to create what ended up being a spectacular ceremony scene. And sure enough, the sun did come out, we lifted the tarps off the chairs, and invited guests to take their seats. It was quite the entrance when Hollie walked down the whimsical floral aisle. Having just been rained on, the flowers seemed to be brighter than ever!

Personalized Details at Cocktail Hour

We love when couples get a custom monogram and personalize details at cocktail hour. Hollie and Curran personalized their stir sticks, bar signs, and even cocktail napkins with a watercolor of their adorable pooch, Jagger.

Ballroom Reception with Big Monogram moments

Walking into Montecito Club’s ballroom was an awe-filled moment. Tons of wisteria flowers hung down from the large chandeliers, hovering over the shimmering blue tables, and a dance floor with the Hollie & Curran’s monogram. Linens, chairs, and table settings from Theoni elevated the ballroom and brought the couple’s design vision to life. The table settings had napkins customized with the couple’s monogram and a whimsical menu graced the plates.

The cake was another monogram moment… Baked by Lelé Pâtisserie, the four-tiered cake was a work of art inside and out. The monogram was meticulously piped on the front, and our TSE team garnished it with lovely florals.

Despite a rainy start to the day, all the design details and logistics came together to make a remarkable wedding day, thanks to the hard work of an amazing vendor team, and joy-filled couple. Hollie and Curran, we wish you the very best, thanks for choosing us to be apart of your day!
