I’m so excited to share this luxurious boho style wedding that took place at a mesmerizing greenhouse. As an event planner and floral designer, there are few things that bring me more joy than curating an unforgettable experience for couples in love. And this particular wedding was a true manifestation of nature and exquisite details. The location was a Dos Pueblos Orchid Farm in Santa Barbara, and Darrah and Alex knew right away that this would be an incredible setting for their boho-chic wedding. My team and I worked together to create a one-of-a-kind day filled with lush neutral florals in every shape and form, and plenty of natural light streaming through the glass roof.

Boho Chic Meets Luxe Splendor

There’s something incredibly captivating about boho weddings. Their effortless elegance and free-spirited vibes. Darrah and Alex wholeheartedly embraced the boho aesthetic, infusing it with a touch of opulence. It was an ethereal fusion of soft pastels, earthy textures, and ethereal blooms, harmonizing seamlessly within the tranquil greenhouse.

A Tapestry of Florals

As the Florist, I was determined to bring the bride and groom’s ceremony vision to life. To evoke this bohemian dreamscape, I carefully selected an array of blooms that exuded romance and whimsy. A pampas grass aisle led the way to the focal point on the bluff. Delicate blush roses intertwined with cascading orchids adorning the rustic wooden arch that served as the ceremony focal point, creating a picturesque spot where love blossomed in abundance.

Setting the Stage: The Greenhouse

The greenhouse created an enchanting backdrop for the celebration of Darrah and Alex’s love. The gentle sunlight filtering through the glass walls cast a dreamlike glow on the entire event. The escort wall was custom made by K Designs and was the perfect compliment to the design with its rattan backdrop and white painted seating assignments on acrylic. The reception tables were adorned with lush floating arrangements, composed of dried flowers, pampas grass, baby’s breath, and roses, cascading gracefully over the tables. The soft glow of candlelight dancing amidst the blossoms evoked an intimate atmosphere, as if each guest was part of a fairytale gathering in an enchanted dessert.

Moments that Last a Lifetime

Every wedding has those unforgettable moments that etch themselves into the hearts of all who attend. For Darrah and Alex, it was their first dance under a canopy of pendant lights, as the band played “Harvest Moon”. The greenhouse seemed to come alive as their love enveloped the entire space, creating an atmosphere that was equal parts romantic and magical.

As the night unfolded, Heirlume Photography captured every little detail. The boho-inspired tablescapes, the tender moments between the newlyweds, and the joy radiating from the faces of their loved ones – these were the snapshots that would forever encapsulate the essence of this extraordinary day.
