As a destination wedding planner, I’ve seen my fair share of stunning events. But this particular welcome party at Glenmere Mansion in New York truly took my breath away.  From the pink walls to the stunning gardens, Glenmere Mansion feels like you have stepped in to Italy in the 1950s.  We wanted the welcome party to capture this “Italian-Summer Soiree” feeling. 

Setting the Scene at Glenmere Mansion

Glenmere Mansion itself is a dream location. Its historic charm and sprawling gardens provide the perfect backdrop for a sophisticated celebration. This Italian-Summer inspired soiree was on the terrace, overlooking the countryside.  We designed a long feasting table, set with dozens of candles, hand-drawn menus, and vibrant red tomatoes in the centerpieces and florals.  The pops of red made the table feel playful and fun.

It’s an opportunity to express gratitude to your guests for making the journey and set the tone for an unforgettable experience. This Italian-Summer inspired Soiree was all about creating a relaxed and sophisticated atmosphere where guests could connect and unwind before the main festivities.
