Erin and Kyle’s wedding at The Ritz Carlton Bacara in Santa Barbara was a breathtaking celebration of love, elegance, and vibrant design. As their Santa Barbara-based wedding planner, it was a dream come true to help bring their colorful vision to life. Every detail was thoughtfully curated to create an unforgettable experience for the couple and their guests.

Ceremony with an Ocean View

The ceremony took place on the Ocean lawn at the Ritz Carlton Bacara overlooking the Pacific Ocean. A stunning floral arch, filled with bright blooms in pinks, oranges, and greens, served as the perfect focal point for Erin and Kyle’s heartfelt vows. The aisle was lined with colorful flowers that complemented the natural beauty of the venue and added a whimsical touch to the ceremony.  I also really loved the “shade station” we created – a cute custom cart with fans and parasols that guests could take and use during the ceremony to ensure they weren’t in the hot sun. 

A Statement Bar and Watercolored Stationery

Cocktail hour featured a statement bar that became a highlight of the evening. The white, custom-designed bar was adorned with vibrant floral arrangements and Erin and Kyle’s personalized monogram. The couple’s watercolor-themed stationery, including signage and menus, added a delicate, artistic element that tied together the wedding design.

Elegant Ballroom Reception

The reception was hosted in The Bacara’s luxurious ballroom, transformed into a dreamy garden setting. Tall floral centerpieces bursting with vibrant roses, peonies, and greenery created a dramatic yet sophisticated atmosphere. Large olive trees, wrapped in twinkling fairy lights, brought a touch of natural elegance indoors. The band performed in front of soft, white draping that added texture and a romantic backdrop to the stage.

Monogrammed Dance Floor

Guests danced the night away on a monogrammed dance floor that showcased Erin and Kyle’s initials in an elegant design. The custom dance floor not only added a personalized touch but also elevated the entire aesthetic of the evening.
