Traditional Jewish Ceremony with Cocktail-Style Reception

Weddings

Well, this wedding was one for the books! Like many of our recent couples, Jacqueline + Zac had to postpone their wedding due to the pandemic, but then their original venue ended up shutting down, so we moved forward with a different venue. But then, there was a wildfire right outside the venue just days before the wedding, so I was researching new venues and backup options.  I had taken measurements and designed a completely new wedding (third time’s the charm!), and then the wildfire situation de-escalated and the freeway finally opened up, so we were able to move forward with the previous plan and venue!  Because of delays, we had to set-up everything twice as fast…thankfully, it all came together beautifully.
Jacqueline wore a classic, timeless, elegant Vera Wang gown, carrying a bouquet of autumnal blooms.  They said their vows under a traditional chuppah in a traditional Jewish wedding ceremony – I love all of the blessings and traditions!
Guests enjoyed a cocktail-style reception (with no formal dinner seating), so we had multiple lounges, cocktail tables, gathering tables, and food stations around the tent. The menu was so fun – from sliders and French Fries to Sushi, each food station represented some of the couple’s favorite foods. I love when couples choose to take a more non-traditional approach to their wedding, and this was such a fun, memorable dance party and experience for the guests.
